Superior seal integrity

Exact plastomers provide a combination of low seal initiation temperatures and a high hot tack and seal strength over a broad temperature window. As illustrated, Exact outperforms conventional sealing polymers including VLDPE's, EVA's and ionomers.

Equally important, the outstanding sealing behaviour of Exact plastomers is affected much less by seal area contaminants than all current premium sealing materials, including ionomers, for form-fill-seal packaging machines. This includes powder as well as liquid contaminants.

Purity

All Exact plastomers are FDA compliant for direct food contact. Very low levels of extractables mean reduced
die build up and smoke generation in processing.

Packaging aesthetics

Exact plastomers can also contribute to enhanced package appearance. The low haze value of film produced with Exact plastomers can improve product visibility and facilitate outstanding graphics. Exact plastomers are also indirectly helping the penetration of luxury appearance polypropylene film structures in providing the opportunity for lap seals.
